Practice Emphasis

Sandy Meador's practice began in the area of hospital risk management and health care liability matters including general hospital administration and defense against nursing, hospital malpractice and EMTALA (patient dumping) claims.  Mr. Meador has been defending hospitals, nurses, and other health care providers against health care liability claims since 1990, and has a successful record of disposing of such claims through effective pre-trial procedures.  Through mediation, pre-trial motions, and summary judgment practice, he has successfully disposed of both low and high-risk claims during the pre-trial phase of litigation.  Mr. Meador's practice has expanded to include eminent domain litigation, matters involving contract drafting and dispute resolution, and preparation of insurance coverage opinions.
