Practice Emphasis

Wade Emmert is a partner practicing in corporate law and civil litigation.

Mr. Emmert enjoys a strong relationship with numerous businesses including one of the largest oil and gas managment companies, energy companies, hospitals and health care providers.  His clients benefit from his experience in a broad spectrum of issues facing today's emerging and established businesses. He has represented his clients in matters ranging from corporate planning, complex commercial and tort litigation, collections, and regulatory compliance.

Mr. Emmert is also a City Council Member for the City of Cedar Hill, Texas. This experience gives Wade a unique insight into the governmental and regulatory issues facing today's businesses. He is a past president of the Cedar Hill Economic Development Corporation and served Cedar Hill as Chairman of the Vote the Vision bond election campaign. Wade recently was named by the Cedar Hill Chamber of Commerce as "Civic Leader of the Year." He is also a member of Mensa.

Mr. Emmert was born in Midland, Texas in 1970.  He received a B.A. in Business and International Studies from Abilene Christian University (1992) and his J.D. from Baylor School of Law (1995), where he distinguished himself as a member of the State and National Mock Trial Teams and the National Order of Barristers.
