Practice Emphasis

Michael Ma represents clients in a variety of property related and immigration related matters. Michael's practice is primarily focused on eminent domain law and immigration.  His representation includes all aspects of land acquisitions, including negotiations and condemnation. Michael also handles family based immigration matters including petitions for immediate relatives, adjustment of status, and naturalization.

Mr. Ma was born in Oregon and moved throughout the United States and lived overseas before coming to Texas in 2000. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and has an international business background with executive managerial experience.

While in law school, he clerked at the Texas Attorney General's Office, Law Enforcement Defense Division. He also clerked for nearly two years at the Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services (the former INS) Chief Regional Counsel's Office where he did work for both USCIS and ICE.
